Hi all, Welcome. I am thankful you are taking the time to read about my story.



Hi! My name is Brooke Josa. I am a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and have been a professional model for 8 years. I have always had a passion for cooking and creating recipes but up until I started modeling, I lost my creativity trying to fit a “mold”. It took me several years to find out what worked for my body, to find self acceptance and what it took to live at my healthiest throughout my career. I have dealt with Lyme Disease, Hypothyroidism, fibromyalgia, sleep disorders, among other health issues over the years. I believe the body can heal itself by itself  if we give it a chance using knowledge of what we choose to put in and on our bodies. A turning point of my journey was falling in love with healing through food, getting my creativity back and recreating my favorite recipes to benefit my body (hence A Model’s Appetite was born). I began researching sources of where the ingredients in our food comes from. I was appalled by how deceived we have been by misleading ads and labels of typical foods eaten daily that “appear” to be healthy but instead, caused destruction to our bodies. A passion of mine has always been when I witness a reaction of someone who has just taken a delicious bite of one of my recipes. Now, I am fulfilled in seeing people not only ENJOY their food but coincidentally heal and become healthier with quality, superfood ingredients. This is a true gift in my opinion.  I believe that  primary foods such as inner joy, self acceptance, quality sleep, healthy relationships, spirituality, and our home/work lives are just as crucial, if not more, to living long and healthy lives rather than solely focusing on nutrition. Even the healthiest of diets and lifestyles can't cover over unbalanced primary foods.  I would be delighted to start a journey together to specifically tailor a program that uniquely fits to YOUR needs. I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition*, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. With my knowledge, together we create completely personalized actions based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources.
