Gluten Free Spaghetti w/ Caramelized Onions, Feta, and Oregano

  • Cut Lemons in Half
  • Crumble Feta
  • Boil Pasta (Follow Directions on the package)
  • Oil/Butter Pan for Onions

Caramelized Onions:

  • 1 1/2 Small Red Onion sliced
  • 1 T Organic Olive Oil
  • 1 T Organic Butter
  • 1/2 t Pink Sea Salt
  • 1/2 t Black Pepper
  • 1 t Oregano
  • Juice of 1 Large Lemon
GF Spaghetti Pasta:
  • 1 12 oz Package Brown Rice pasta
  • 1 T Butter
  • 1 T Olive Oil
  • 1 T Oregano
  • 1/2 t Pink Sea Salt
  • 1/2 t Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 t Black pepper
  • 1/4-1/2 Juice of a Lemon
Feta Cheese: 
  • 1/2 6 oz Package Organic Sheep's Milk Cheese


Cook sliced onions on high heat, then turn to low heat and let cook until the crispy edges turn soft and caramel-y. This process takes around 10-15 min.

Once onions have cooled down a bit, add them to the already dressed pasta.

Transfer to a serving bowl and top with the crumbled feta. (I like buying a block of cheese and crumbling myself)

Lastly, top with an extra sprinkle of oregano over the dish. It not only adds flavor, but adds to the presentation.
